I’ve decided to take another crack at naming our baby. Since our baby will be born in the year of the rabbit, according to the Chinese zodiac, I thought it’d be cute to name our baby after a rabbit character from TV or from a book.
After perusing through a list of names, my vote for most uncreative name goes to the rabbit in A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh series. The rabbit in the stories is called, Rabbit. That doesn’t seem fair to me. How come the other animals like Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore get real names? Does Mr. Milne have a thing against rabbits? How hard could it have been to come up with a name?
Whenever I read from Winnie the Pooh to my child, I’m going to start calling Rabbit, Bucephelus.
