What are the Odds

I was just using Dictionary.com to double-check the spelling of a word and on the sidebar is the Word of the Day. It happens to be ‘enceinte,’ which means pregnant or with child.

What are the chances of stumbling across this word while writing on the very topic of pregnancy? Being a former math teacher, I broke out my calculator and did a few simple, or in the case of people with average IQ’s, complex equations.

It turns out that the chances of me coming across the word ‘enceinte’ is 1 in 1,760,000. Could this be a sign of some sort? I don’t know, but I just learned a new word and so did you.
