As you may recall, Jessie has been a bit self-conscious about her pooch from the time people started asking if she was a few months pregnant even though she was only a few weeks in. Since then, her stomach has been expanding at a rapid rate. At our last doctor visit on Saturday, Jessie wanted to know exactly what was going on with her stomach.
Jessie: Doctor, why is my stomach so big? Is it because of gas or because my baby is growing really fast?
(Doctor looks at her stomach and ponders this question for a moment)
Doctor: That's fat. You’ve got a fat stomach.
While I commend him for getting straight to the point and not beating around the bush, I don't think this quality won him any brownie points with Jessie.
